Breathing...

...has become slim to none :( I have been taken over by the horrible wretched allergy season :(...
It all started with the sniffles...then a sneeze or two...following some scratchy itchy throat & ear sessions...and now...full blown stuffy nose & sinus headache :*( BOO! I had a great weekend planned for my dayz off and this happens. Needless to say I got about 30% of what I had planned on doing..done! The rest of the time I laid around hoping that my ears would eventually *pop* or the one nostril would give up and start to open :/ but I got nothin!

So now I sit here at work (for my weekend is over & now I'm back to the grind). Miserable and so wishing to be home with a cup of hot honey tea & my doggies on my lap watching Regis & Kelly....but no....no luck! My week must start, and life must go on...again...BOOO!

lost in space...

As I'm sitting here at work...really trying to focus....ahem...ok really I'm spacing out. Its such a beautiful day out. Sun is very shiney...my family is at home w/o me :( I'm thinking I should be writing my "to do" list for the week. Listening to the spa music is putting a damper on my ability to move...as I'm drifting into a sluggish sleep. I'm not even tired...just bored really. Today (as well as most Tuesdays) are always this way. Today is my Monday!

Easter has been here...and gone!

Its hard to believe its APRIL! Easter has passed...next is Memorial Day. This year is flying by so fast. Today I did *some* spring cleaning in the kitchen. I need a whole week of just me time to do the cleaning that needs to be done. Also, would give me a chance to get things ready for a yard sale. I wanted to do more today but I had to put together pricing info for the invitations I am 'hoping' to do for a wedding. Crossing my fingers my $pricing$ wasnt too much. They will all be handmade so it isnt like ordering from a large company with mass production by no means...luckily I enjoy doing these kinda things...because in all reality, I'll never get my moneys worth outta my time. But that is how it goes.

Weddings in the works...

Im a sucker for punishment....I love weddings...I love helping with weddings..but I seem to stress over them more than the Bride-to-be at times. So far, I've accepted the creation of one wedding for Invites/programs...and also, custom made jewelry for another...Both due for fall weddings. Today, I met with Wedding 1 for invites & just got an email for Wedding 2 for jewelry. Best get started I guess...I will post my creations soon....dont worry :)

Oh, the fun just keeps coming!

Okay, so I just shared with you my new *toy*....well....I kinda got another today. I went to Staples to just 'look around' and to get an accounting ledger....ended up spending way too much (luckily all was a right-off ) I spotted an awesome paper cutter! It has ATTACHMENTS! I love extras to make my life simpler :) Sooo, after opening up a bunch of boxes to scope out the competition....I selected the CARL RT-200...It has 11 cutting blade styles (I bought 4 additional to the one it came with) It was in my budget, and worth my while. I LOVE IT! I got to use it today with a project I'm working on. Worked like a dream!

My *NEW* baby :)...What'a dream...

I *officially* got to use my new toy last night. It was well worth the $$. I have recently taken on 'another' wedding project and this little dandy will come in handy ;0) I can use any size from 12"x12" to 2"x2" paper and cut it in 1/2's or 1/3's....So making cards is a breeeeze now!!! I am so excited! Just slide the paper into the top, crank the ol' cranker...and BAM....you have your paper cut to perfection!!! The best invention yet!!!
